Jackson Watts

Jackson Watts began pastoring Grace in August, 2011, after ministering in North Carolina for several years.

Jackson grew up in the coastal region of South Carolina, and was called to preach shortly after beginning studies at Welch College. There he studied English and Pastoral Ministry, and was ordained shortly after graduation. Following this he served from 2007-2011 as Minister of Education at Tippett's Chapel FWB in Clayton, North Carolina. During this time he earned graduate degrees from both Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary and Duke Divinity School. He has since completed a Ph.D. from Concordia Seminary.

In July of 2011, Jackson was called to serve as pastor in Grace's 50th year of ministry. He also writes regularly for a website he helped co-found known as The Helwys Society Forum. He and his wife Mckensie met in North Carolina, and she joined him in ministry after the two were wed in 2012. They live in Pevely. Of the church, Jackson says, "This is a tremendous opportunity to serve Christ's people in a growing community. The need is great, and the work is challenging. But God's Word and grace are sufficient."
